Arkani Ruáinga Sómaz (ARS) — Arakan Rohingya Society — marked its beginning with an inaugural ceremony on 24 October 2026. Respected guests, community elders, members, and supporters joined the gathering, sharing advice, encouragement, and hopes for the initiative’s future.

ARS members expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed their perspectives. The ceremony marked the start of a shared journey rooted in Rohingya identity, community participation, and aspirations for a safe and dignified return to the homeland, Arakan.

During displacement, ARS aims to strengthen community wellbeing, capacities, and resilience while preserving Rohingya identity, dignity, and values. As the initiative builds its foundations, its future activities will be guided by community voices, experiences, and priorities.

ARS welcomes continued guidance, cooperation, and support as it takes its next steps.

Together for Rights, Dignity and Wellbeing.
